Analytics - Detail View: How to analyse a search term
One of the most powerful functions of the Analytics UI is the detailed analysis of search terms and sessions. Let's take one of the most searched terms as an example - "washing machine":
To view all sessions that have entered this search term, hover the mouse pointer over one of the fields and click the context button . From the dropdown, select the top item.
From which column you switch to the session view is basically unimportant. The selection only determines the basic sorting of the sessions. I.e. if you switch to the Session View via Click Number, the sessions are sorted by Click Number, etc.
With the help of the buttons above the list you can still sort by click, shopping cart, etc.
If you select one of the sessions, you will see a timeline on the right-hand side that lists all events of the user session chronologically.
You can recognize the type of event by the node icons.
Important: Sessions that are not ended manually are capped at 0300 at night.
