Impact of Loop54 on existing Modules

FACT-Finder powered by Loop54 offers many new functions and also extends many existing ones. Due to this broad effect, there may be overlaps with existing modules. Here you will find a list of all existing interactions between native functions and Loop54.

Demo Shop

Demo Shop personalizes from the beginning based on Session ID. Usage with UserID not possible, therefore no link with Cockpit based on User-ID is possible.


Ranking rules and live rankings

Ranking rules and live rankings are no longer implemented to the letter.
  • Ranking rules and live rankings now give the Loop54 Engine an approach to better understand what you want to achieve ("+1%" less influence, "+10%" more influence).
  • Exclusions work and are a powerful way to improve Loop54 Engine results. They tighten up the search results even before they are passed to the Loop54 Engine, helping to personalize the final results.
  • The Loop54 Engine has the final say on ranking. This means that if ranking and personalization contradict each other, personalization wins this conflict.

The result on the left is personalized, the one on the right is only ranked. In the personalized result, the similarity is not taken into account.


Campaigns

  • Banner campaigns work without restrictions
  • Product recommendations cannot be placed as part of campaigns
  • Products from pinned product campaigns are only pinned and not personalized
  • Pushed Products campaigns do work. These are functionally the same as pinned products, only with permanent pin0. Pushed products also stay in the defined order, the rest of the result is re-sorted and personalized by Loop54 and pinned at the end of the pinned products
  • The personalized checkbox in the campaign wizard is disabled. Upselling, cross-selling and "most popular" pushed products are not available when Loop54 recommendations are enabled.

Suggest

When you select a product or category from the Suggest, an internal search is triggered. This personalizes the results displayed, including the categories. This means that product lists differ depending on whether the category is selected from the navigation (not personalized), or the Suggest (personalized).

Sorting

Personalization only takes effect when sorting by relevance. All other sorting is subject to its own rules, alphabetical, price, etc.

Channels          

New channels with the new personalization and product recommendation cannot be created by store operators.

This includes the inheritance function, If you need a new channel, please contact your consultant.

Delta Updates

Not compatible with Loop54

When the loop engine encounters unknown product IDs, they are always ranked last.

ASO          

Not compatible with Loop54

This module is deactivated and will not be developed further. Search optimization is performed by the Loop54 engine. 

Semantic Enhancer
