Learn how to manually import product data to your FactFinder search database.

You should coordinate with Professional Services to set intervals for an automatic import of the data (e.g. nightly). This means that manual import is not neccessary during normal operations.

1. Open the Import Page

Click Import in the menu bar.

2. Choose a Channel

Select a channel from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, select All channels.

3. Select "Data"

Select Data from the dropdown menu and select Product import from source file. In case, a download-URL is confured and you want to include a new download of your data into your import this time, also check download product data.

Please note that the checkbox next to Product import from source file only switches on the import from the central product data CSV file. If the Geo- or the CSP-module is enabled, a complete import from all CSV files, including the Price import from source file and/or the Geo import from source file, may also be necessary. Please enable the corresponding checkboxes in that case.

4. Start the Import

FactFinder collects the data based on the channel configuration and re-imports them.

Click START IMPORT.

In case you also want to import the new data into the suggest, select Suggest after the import has finished. Click START IMPORT again.
