Parent and child channels are grouped together in hierarchical order.

Parent and Child Channels in the Channel Selection

Just like in the installer, parent (1) and child (2) channels are also displayed in groups in the channel selection. Child channels are indented slightly and grouped under their parent.

Child Channels in the Edit View

Child channels are marked with unique Icons in Multi-Channel Supported Settings. These icons display their relation to the parent channel and allow for modifications. You can learn more about that topic in the chapter Keeping, modifying, deleting and restoring inherited Settings.
