Product keywords

FACT-Finder can provide keywords for each product. These keywords are compiled from user inputs. That means that these keywords were important in allowing the user to find the product. They can be used for purposes such as Google AdWords campaigns, or can be included in product details pages in order to increase product ranking in the case of typos when users search in search engines.

The keywords are generated automatically by the module Automated Search Optimization (ASO), so you must have integrated this first (see  FACT-Finder Tracking Integration). In addition to this automated generation process, you can also make changes to the keywords by adding your own or removing any that have been generated automatically.

Product keywords are always returned together with the search result. They are sorted in order of importance, from most important to least important. Keywords that have been added manually are seen as most important. Any remaining keywords are then sorted by relevance.
The keywords are returned in a separate area of the product data record.
